Readers of the "Subtleties of Tourism" are offered another portion of the results of a large-scale research into the hotel price policy conducted by hotels.com. If yesterday we presented the rating of the most expensive cities for the night, then today it was the turn for the diametrically opposite list.
The rating of the cities with the lowest prices for hotel rooms was headed by the capital of Cambodia Phnom Penh: in 2012 the tourists laid out in local hotels on average on 43 EUR for one night (against 46 in 2011). The rest of the list is as follows:
2. Hanoi, Vietnam. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 44 EUR (compared to 47 EUR in 2011.)
3. Chiang Mai, Thailand. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 58 EUR (compared to 57 EUR in 2011)
4. Pattaya, Thailand. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 59 EUR (against 53 EUR in 2011)
5. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 60 EUR (against 62 EUR in 2011)
6. Vilnius. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 64 EUR (against 57 EUR in 2011)
7. Riga. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 65 EUR (compared to 61 EUR in 2011)
8. Budapest. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 66 EUR (against 65 EUR in 2011)
9. Bangkok. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 67 EUR (against 65 EUR in 2011)
10. Krakow. The average cost of a hotel room in 2012 is 69 EUR (against 70 EUR in 2011.)
