Monclend Avenue (or Moncland) - one of the largest streets in Montreal, the Monclende Village shopping center: a collection of popular shops, trendy restaurants, open cafes and cozy pubs. The most notable places of rest here are the "Monkland" tavern with excellent cuisine and a truly tourist place - the magnificent "Old Fruit Garden" pub
The name of the avenue was named after Sir James Monk, whose cottage was built here among the first.
