Near Paphos there is a place where, according to legend, Aphrodite had fun with her lover Dionysus and other wonderful men. You can get to Kupala only on foot. It was believed that Aphrodite liked to bathe in the shade of the fig tree and in the thickets of the fern. The water in the pool seems to give eternal youth.
Check this statement does not work, because swimming is prohibited. Is that the hands-feet moisten. From the bathing path leads to the Fountain of Love. These hiking routes are free. Nobody will take you from the Eurocent and for visiting the lake and Fontana. The average visit takes three hours to complete.
The temple of Aphrodite was built in the village of Kuklia, which is 15 kilometers from Paphos. It was built in the 12th century BC. Homer wrote about the temple in his poems.

Later, the tradition was interrupted by conscientious Christians, and the temple was given to both new converts and earthquakes. So to this day only ruins have survived.
