The other day, the authorities of India have submitted a draft of a new monument, which after its erection will be the highest in the world. The Unity statue will be established in the west of the country, in Gujarat.

A new monument in the form of one of the leaders of the Indian National Congress, the author of the Constitution and the political structure of the country Vallabhai Patel, will rise almost 182 m. The tallest statue at the moment, established in honor of the Buddha in the Chinese province of Henan, will be lower by approximately 29 m.

Inside the Indian monument will open an aquarium, a research center, a gallery and an observation deck. The Prime Minister of India has allocated 34 million USD for the erection of the Statue of Unity. The total amount of construction costs, according to preliminary estimates, will be 415 million USD.
