The Polish-Hungarian low-coster Wizz Air announced the opening of its new base at Riga International Airport.
Already in June, the budget air carrier will offer residents of the Latvian capital 4 new routes, including a flight to Beauvais (an airport near Paris). Departures from Riga are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 17:00 with a landing in Picardy at 18:50 local time. Return items are provided on the same days at 19:20 with return to Latvia at 22:55 local time. On the route will be involved Airbus A320, designed to receive 180 passengers.
It should be recalled that the Riga-Paris flight has been carried out for many years by the Latvian national airBaltic air carrier, but the offer from Wizz air is more economical: the minimum ticket price for the new route is only 80 EUR in both directions with all charges. Among other novelties of the loukoster, flights to Barcelona, Dortmund and Doncaster should also be noted.
