The visa center of Latvia in Moscow ahead of schedule will stop receiving documents for issuing visas before the winter holidays.

"In connection with the New Year holidays, documents for urgent visas will be accepted only until December 17 inclusive. We ask you to plan your trip to Latvia in advance! "- says the official website of the institution. After the announced date, the visa center will continue to work, but it will not be possible to get the Latvian Schengen before the New Year.

The Latvian Consular Service also asks the applicants to pay attention to the schedule of work of the visa center during the holidays:

• On December 24, 25, 26, 28 the center works only on issuing passports issued on demand from 9 am to 6 pm;
• On December 27, 30 the center works to receive documents for issuing visas and issuing passports issued on demand from 9 am to 6 pm;
• On December 31, the center works only to issue passports issued on demand from 9 am to 5 pm;
• On January 3 and 8, the center works on receiving documents for issuing visas and issuing passports issued on demand from 9 am to 6 pm;
