The Nyah National Park is located in the state of Sarawak in the jungle and limestone cliffs. Here are the world famous caves of Niakh, where traces of early human settlements were discovered. The so-called Big Cave occupies an area equal to 13 football fields, millions of bats and swifts nest here. In the 1950s, archaeologists found in these caves a skull of a reasonable man who lived 40,000 years ago

Four kilometers to the Great Cave (Western Gate) lie on high wooden boards and take 45 minutes to one hour.

How to get to Niaha

From Miri (two hours) or Bintulu (Bintulu, three hours) there are buses to Pengkalan Batu, , where the management of the park is located. From there, only 4 km away from the caves of Niakh.

Miri can be reached by daily flights from Malaysia Airlines from Kuching and Kota Kinabalu
