I still find it incredible how on these tiny islands there were so many prehistoric buildings? By the way, I saw a thick book from the British, dedicated solely to the megaliths of Malta, and used the modest "Thomas Cook" herself. Impressive are a few things: the temples of Jagantia (there are two of them) on Gozo are considered the most ancient buildings on the planet (older than the pyramids of Giza), who, how and for what it all built, is also not completely clear.
