One of the restaurants in the Polish resort town of Sopot, located on the shores of the Baltic Sea, refused to serve tourists from Russia. "We do not serve Russians," - such a sign adorns the doors of the institution.
At the same time, local media reported that this is not the first such gesture on the part of restaurant owner Ian Hermanovich, who actively expresses his position on the issues of relations with Russia. So, earlier the owner of the institution hung the Ukrainian flag in front of the entrance as a sign of solidarity.
Mr. Hermanovich believes that not only politicians but all Russian society are guilty in what is happening in Ukraine, which behaves passively and does not protest or at all supports Putin's actions.
The owner of the restaurant notes that the Russians react differently to the signboard. According to him, some support his position on Ukraine, while others call him racist.
Even Sopot Mayor Jacek Karnovski became interested in the situation, who said he would persuade Mr. Hermanovich to cancel sanctions in his restaurant, since there are a lot of absolutely different people in Russia.
