The village of Inzhavino is the administrative center of the Inzhavinsky district, located in the south-eastern part of the Tambov region, on the bank of the Crow. Former before 1960, the village of Inzhavino was founded in 1705. Voroninsky Reserve
On the territory of the Inzhavinsky and neighboring Kirsanovsky districts of the Tambov region there is a state natural Voroninsky reserve, which is a forest-steppe zone in the valley of the Voron River. The total area of the reserve is 103.2 sq. Km, around it there is also a guard zone with the area of 112.6 sq. Km
Its formation is connected with the name of the Russian geographer B . P . Semyon Tyan-Shansky, who offered more in the beginning of the 20th century, to create a unique "urn park" that preserves the so-called "uremu" - an impenetrable floodplain forest . Ecological paths and routes

Manor Karaul
15 km from the regional center of Inzhavino on the high steep bank of the River Vorona is the village of Karaul, which became famous due to the patrimonial estate of the noblemen Chicheriny who came from many outstanding state and public figures who at various times occupied prominent posts in the Russian State. In addition to the nobility of the nobility, the estate of Karaul was famous for its wealth and beauty.
Architecture
In 1837 a nobleman Nikolai Vasilievich Chicherin purchased a noble house on the bank of the picturesque river Vorona, and the construction of the buildings of the new manor began. The center of the architectural and landscape ensemble, the Bars House, was completed in 1849. This plastered three-storey building of wood and brick was made in the English cottage style. From the south-east side there was a stone terrace adjacent to it. In total there were 38 rooms in the house, and the area of the manor was more than 1500 meters.
The personal decoration of the estate was the creation of a close friend of the Chicherin family Sergei Boratynsky (the younger brother of the poet Boratynsky). The carriage yard is a stone battlement in the Gothic style. To date, this is one of the best preserved parts of the manor.
Here also a guest house was built, greenhouses, park gazebos, a family crypt near the Holy Trinity Church, a manager's house, a servant household yard, a mill and a school. All the economic buildings, the manor house and the church were interconnected by a complex system of underground passages with access to the river. The basements and parts of these underground passages have survived to this day
Park Ensemble
Park at the estate was designed by the talented gardener-designer Mackzig. Two main avenues - lime and birch, led to the house and church, also the park consisted of pine, oak, elm, larch, chestnut, plum alley and two orchards. Part of the park around the house and the church was made in the regular (French) style, then on a slope to the river it passed into a landscape (English) style, merging with a natural pripoymennoy forest. The total area of the manor together with the park was about 1700 hectares
The glorious history of Chicherin's Manor
The estate flourished under Boris Nikolaevich Chicherin, the famous Russian jurist, historian, philosopher and publicist - with him, Karaul became one of the most famous cultural centers of Russia . After the revolution, thanks to the patronage of the People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs of the first Soviet government, George Vasilyevich Chicherin, the nephew of Boris Nikolayevich Chicherin, in the main building of the estate was organized a museum of aristocratic life. However, in 1927 the museum was disbanded. Library Chicherinyh was transferred to the funds of the library.
