A bit of history
At the dawn of the seventies of the 19th century a future classic of Russian literature Nikolai Nekrasov came to Chudovskaya Luka, bought a house with a house from the local landowner and lived here for about five years, writing poems and often going hunting.
During the Great Patriotic War, the hunting lodge, like the estate of Zvanka, owned by Gabriel Derzhavin, the Arakcheevsky barracks in Selishche and the estate of Count Arakcheev in Gruzino (all these are the nearest neighborhood of Chudov), turned into ruins and ruins.
