Lake Chudskoye (one of the parts of the Chudsko-Pskov Lake Complex) is a large freshwater lake with an area of more than 2600 sq. M . km . How to get here
Get to the lake from St. Petersburg at all it is not difficult and short: to the nearest to the city of Gdow on the roads E20 and Z60 the path is about 250 km and takes about 3 hours. From Pskov, Chud lies about half an hour away, depending on which holiday hostel you have chosen (hereinafter referred to as transfer or taxi).

Beaches on the lake are sandy, very comfortable. But it should be noted that the most beautiful is on the Estonian coast, it is the beach of Kauksi, known not only for its picturesqueness, but also for "singing" sands.
