The representative of the city administration of the Serbian capital Goran Vesic informed that a monument to the last Russian tsar will be erected in Belgrade.
Monument to Nikolai Romanov opens in the center of Belgrade, in the street of the King of Milan, in a park near the parliament. The supposed date for the opening of the new monument is October 19, 2014
According to Goran Vesic, the monument to Tsar Nicholas II is a tribute to the people of the Russian ruler who saved the Serbian army after crossing the Albanian mountains during World War I. @ that the monument will be erected at the expense of Russia. Plates for the monument will be brought from Macedonia and Bulgaria.
