Majorca hotel federation announced the results of its own research, according to which local hotels are open on average 7 months in year.

In 2015, the start of the summer season will again shift: most hotels of the island will begin to receive visitors as early as the end of March. In October 2014, about half of the island's hotels continued to receive tourists, which is significantly higher than last year.

The only resort in the island where the number of hotel rooms remains unchanged year-round is Palma de Mallorca.
