In the very near future, Tunisia will join the countries in which the tourist tax operates.
Beginning on October 1, every traveler over 12 years traveling to the North African state will pay 2 Tunisian dinars (about 40 rubles) per each day of stay. As in most other countries where a similar tax applies, the payment will be made upon arrival at the reception desk. The tourist covers the entire period of his stay, and even in case of an early departure, the balance of the tax paid is not returned.
Recall that this year the tourist season in Tunisia was extended until the end of November due to the redistribution of the tourist flow after the closure of the Egyptian direction.
