The majestic ruins of Duggie, Tunisia

The Ministry of Tourism of Tunisia, desperately trying to restore the pre-revolutionary level of the flow of travelers, plans to extend the high season until the end of November.

It is reported that the previous frequency of flights between Russian cities and Tunisian resorts will provide the airline Nouvelair. The extension of the season will allow the North African state to increase the already high flow of Russians since the beginning of this year: according to the local Office for Tourism, over 260,000 Russians visited Tunis from January to October, which is 30% more than in the previous year.

It should be noted that not only a large company promoting the Tunisian trend contributed to the achievement of such a high figure, but also the situation with the closure of Egypt. Because of the inability to travel to the traditionally popular Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, Russian tourists were forced to seek alternative places for recreation, among which, among others, Hammamet, Sousse and Monastir.
