The director of air transportation and airports of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, Sergei Korshuk, said that the airspace over Donetsk and Kharkiv will be closed to Russian carriers.
A negative reaction to this decision has already been made by Russian airlines, since such a ban is contrary to international air traffic regulations and can lead to human rights violations.
While the ban is announced for the period from 2 to 5 May, but the probability of its extension is high. It should be noted that Russia has not yet banned any air carriers from Ukraine.
