4 Ukraine introduces strict restrictions on entry for Russians

As reported by Aeroflot, the Ukrainian authorities introduced large-scale restrictions for Russians entering the country. According to the new rules, all Russian citizens of the male age from 16 to 60 years, as well as men from 16 to 60 years and women from 20 to 35 years, registered in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol will be denied entry. @

The admission of Russian citizens of the male age from 16 to 60 years will be carried out only in extreme cases on the personal decision of the head of the border detachment and only if there are documents confirming family ties in Ukraine, death or serious illness of close relatives. Also, men from 16 to 60 years old can be admitted to the country upon presentation of certified originals of invitations to individuals or legal entities or on the basis of information provided by the Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

Men from 16 to 60 years registered in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol will be admitted to the territory of Ukraine only upon presentation of tourist vouchers and airplane tickets in both directions, in the presence of documents on serious illness or death of close relatives or on the basis of information from the Administration State Border Service of Ukraine.

Women aged 20 to 35 years, registered on the territory of the Crimea or Sevastopol, will be admitted to the territory of Ukraine only by the results of conducting filtering and verification activities.
