The Museum of Contemporary Art in San Francisco, better known by the Latin abbreviation SFMOMA, can rightly be called the main and most visited museum of the city. In addition to the vast collection of works of art from 19-21 centuries, numbering more than 29 000 works, the museum is notable for its ultra-modern building - it was designed by the famous Swiss architect Mario Botta.
