The company Star Clippers, which organizes sea cruises luxury in the Mediterranean and the Baltic Sea, announced the launch of a new route: the four-masted Star Flyer schooner 115 meters long is preparing to raise its sails off the coast of Cuba in 2014.
The luxury vessel is designed for 170 passengers and 74 crew members. Cruises along the "country of freedom" lasting from 7 to 11 days are planned with departure from Cienfuegos - the capital of the same province of Cuban. The program of the routes: the island of Cayo Blanco, Casilda and the archipelago of Los Canaros.
Even if the Star Flyer manifests itself as a reproduction of a nineteenth-century marine vessel, its "filling" fully corresponds to the modern era: schooner passengers can take advantage of two swimming pools, a Thai massage parlor, wireless Internet access via Wi-Fi and even a library. On board the ship there are also a restaurant and several thematic bars.
