Zoo Korkeasaari in the capital of Finland will be free. True, just for one day. October 4, 2014 marked the Day of the protection of animals, to which the action is timed.
The zoo's working hours on the holiday will be extended until 18:00, whereas usually Korkeasaari is open until 16:00. From 10:30 to 16:00 visitors will be able to watch the feeding of animals, including snow leopards, Amur tigers, Mongolian horses and other vivid fauna.
On normal days, the cost of admission to Korkeasaari is 12 EUR for an adult and 6 EUR for children under 17.
