In the old city of Riga, the Big and the Small Guild occupy a special place. Let's start with Malaya. A small guild was built in the 18th century, and unlike the Bolshoi it was the representation of artisans, and not of merchants, which, in general, was the reason why the Guild was called Malaya, because artisans did not have such an influence on the city's life as merchants.
