The Princess Grace: More than the Image exhibition was the first phase of cooperation between the New National Museum of Monaco, the Central College of Art and Design of St. Martin and the Pringle of Scotland fashion brand

The idea of ​​the exhibition belongs to the staff of the New National Museum of Monaco and A new phase of the project "Pringle of Scotland Archives" designed for 2012 and 2013 . Within the framework of this project, the designers will carefully consider the wardrobe of Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco, and special emphasis will be placed on knitted and knitted things that Princess of Grace loved so much . Pringle of Scotland specialists together with experts from the College of St. Martin from 2010 conducted a serious study of documentary archives associated with the wardrobe of all beloved Princesses .

The exhibition "Princess Grace: more than the image" also draws a very personal portrait of the character and habits of Princess Gr Qc. The name of the exposition was inspired by the quote of the princess herself from her interview in Time magazine in 1955: "I do not want my face to be the only decoration of the film". The idea to find a person in a way that was familiar to the whole world, and became the central theme of the exhibition.

The exposition will reflect the princess's personal interests, her enthusiasm and vitality, which come through in each of the documentary archives. In September 2012 the museum will present a collection inspired by the exhibition itself and developed by the students of the college in the direction "Fashion and Design."

The exhibition is open in the New National Museum of Monaco, from April 3 to May 20, every day from 10:00 to 18:00
