From June 7 to 11, the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo will host the 54th TV Festival. It was founded in 1961 to encourage the best directors of serials and television programs.
The main award is the "Golden Nymph" - a gilded statuette, designed by sculptor Francois-Joseph Bosio. The original statuette is in the Louvre in Paris
This year, a number of events are scheduled for the TV festival: autograph sessions, film screenings, opportunities to meet with the stars and, of course, the colorful ceremony of opening and awarding the laureates.
