The Moroccan tourism industry, which celebrates a steady growth of tourist flow this year, suddenly set its sights on the South American market.
The first potential travelers from the region, so unobvious to the North Africa, the National Tourism Office of Morocco will try to find in Brazil: in the coming days, the first branch of the organization will open in a multimillion-dollar São Paulo.
"We are going to open an office in Sao Paulo to better position Moroccan tourism in the South American market. Our main goal is to strengthen the tourist flow in Morocco from such a perspective region for us, "the general director of the organization said in an interview with Le Matin.
Already next year the tourist authorities of the North African state hope to receive up to 30 thousand Brazilian travelers. For these purposes, additional direct flights will be opened between the two countries, and special tours adapted for the South American public will be organized.
