A very original hotel of 86 luxury rooms designed by a Dutch group of architects specially for the Norwegian city of Tromsø. The thing is that the hotel will be made in the form of an ice snowflake, which, according to the idea of the creators, will take guests to the Norwegian Sea to the northern lights.
"This is the only way to place a hotel in such a beautiful place," says one of the hotel architects Coee Altius. The creator of the project says that the floating hotel could be in demand in his homeland, in the Netherlands, but the kind of northern lights will attract more wealthy tourists from Russia, Europe and Japan.
"The floating hotel will be very large and stable, so guests even they will not notice movement. They will feel that they are on land, "says Oltius. One of the highlights of the luxury hotel is the transparent roof, thanks to which the guests will be able to fully enjoy the miracle of nature.
The cost of living in the hotel is not disclosed, but it is known that the prices will be about 15% higher than in similar hotels on the ground . Floating hotel will host the first guests in 2016
