How to get to Sopot
The nearest airport, located in Gdańsk - "Rembehovo" (9 km from Sopot) receives flights from Warsaw .Trains come directly to Sopot station, which has a direct railway connection with Warsaw (departures every hour, the fare costs 20-35 EUR depending on the train and class of the car, on the way 4-5 hours) and other cities, including Kaliningrad .You can get to the resort by bus from the Kaliningrad region (on the way ok .5 hours), Warsaw - on the express train for 4 hours .In the summer, from the resort jetty, we go for pleasure boats to Gdansk, to the Westerplatte peninsula, to Gdynia and the Hel peninsula to Yastarnu and Hel .

Transport
The city does not have its own public transport, but one route of the Gdynia trolleybus, as well as the Szybka Kolej Miejska train, comes here.
Treatment
Since 1999, Sopot has officially received the status of "health resort" after the development of the source of healing salt mineral waters of St. Wojciech, the modernization and expansion of the complex of physiotherapy procedures of the ancient balneological center.
Entertainment, excursions and sightseeing Sopot
In Cotote lies the longest wooden sea pier in Europe (515, 5 meters) and the famous "Dancing House" (Krzywy Dom - "crooked house"). The house was built in 2004 on the main street of the resort - Heroes of Monte Cassino (Bohaterów Monte Cassino, 53) - according to the project of the architects Shotinsky and Zalewski. The facility is part of the Resident Shopping Center, and its first floor houses shops, a restaurant and a salon of slot machines. The house even has a website: www.krzywydomek.info.
Moniuszko Street leads to the Forest Opera, opened in 1909 by Paul Walter-Schaeffer, the Kapellmeister of the Gdańsk City Theater. In the last decade of August, the famous song festival (the one that glorified our prima donna Pugachev) is held here.
Along the beach stretches a 2-km strip of the Northern Park, laid on a marsh, dried in the 70s.
Museums of Sopot
The City Museum (Muzeum Sopotu)
It is located on the seaside boulevard, close to the beach, between the South Bath and the Pristan Bar, in the old villa of 1903. In the permanent exhibition: objects and things of the early 20th century in the fashionable interiors of the ground floor (hall, dining room, veranda, salon, boudoir). The second floor (the former bedroom) is used for temporary exposition. In the attic there are museum workshops.

Archaeological Museum-Reserve (Grodzisko)
The archaeological museum-reserve is a restored medieval settlement, located on the postglacial elevation at a distance of about 400 m from the coast.
