Warsaw Stare Miasto, or Starywka, is the most beautiful part of the city, walking along which it is impossible to believe that all these buildings were built only in the last century . The spirit of the medieval city is so realistic, the historical reconstruction is so accurate.

Here you can see typical medieval streets paved with paving stones, tiled roofs, old churches, cozy houses of two windows wide, the mass of restaurants with authentic Polish cuisine and a crowd of tourists who are fascinated all this is scrutinized. It remains to be amazed how subtly and skillfully recreated the former beauty of Warsaw in the 20th century. Do not be lazy and go to the viewing platform, which is located behind the Royal Palace. An amazing view of the Vistula and the new stadium is guaranteed in any weather.

We walked here during the day: we skated at the rink on the Market Square and ate pies (it's vareniki) and soup zhurek (such a rassolnik in a bread plate) in a cafe. And then we wandered through the same streets in the evening, in the light of streetlights and festive illumination .... Read the whole review

In Poland, I visited in 2012, when I was vacationing with my girlfriend in Europe. It is a pity that only 2 days have been allocated for the visit to Poland, as I would like to visit Krakow and Auschwitz, as well as to see the infamous concentration camps of Auschwitz. Here are the main attractions of the country, for example, the Town Hall and the Royal Palace, which are daily guided tours. In this place they like to rest not only tourists, but also the inhabitants of Warsaw, who often spend their weekends here .... Read the full review
