An unusual art project was realized in the capital of Poland: talking gold deer appeared at the entrance to the House of Culture of Warsaw. Sculptures were installed at the request of the Drama Theater, which is located in the high-rise of the Stalin era since 1955

The square in front of the building, reminiscent of the famous 7 high-rise Moscow, in the communist era was a key platform for political propaganda. Eliza Proshchak, who was asked to update the space in front of the high-rise, felt that the statues of gold deer were exactly what the square lacked.

The deer were borrowed in the Drama Theater, where for many years they served as props for performances. After their coloring in gold, Elisa Proshchak walked through the streets of Warsaw and asked the local residents what they thought about the theater. Records with thoughts of Warsaw residents were integrated into the installation, which creates the feeling that the deer speak themselves.

The original statues stand in front of the Drama Theater in Warsaw until August 15.
