"Ataman" is an open-air museum where all the exhibits are not only possible, but they need to be touched. He is in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory and talks about the life of the Cossacks and the history of the Kuban land. There are not so many similar projects in this region, therefore local authorities firmly hold on to Ataman as one of the most reliable ways to attract tourists.
Since then, from spring to autumn, tens of thousands of tourists have come to the museum in order to better understand how the Cossacks used to live. It is worth noting that, judging by the "Atamani", they lived well. The complex is located on the shore of the bay, to the sea there are four streets. The territory is scattered metochion, and each of them - with its own meaning. Here is the house of the blacksmith, here is the house of the baker, here is typical Cossack, etc.
Exposition
On foot, Ataman is tedious - the museum covers an area of 20 hectares. But there is something to see: watchtowers, a market, a bridge, wells, a tavern, a church, a tavern, a school and much more. In fact, this is a live page, which, however, works on schedule - from May to October.
Guides can tell about each object for hours. All objects of everyday life, presented in the "Atamani", the creators of the museum collected in the Krasnodar Territory. There is not a single model, not a fake! Dishes, laces, embroidery, photos, images, chests, cradles, tools, bricks - all these things were kept in the families of Cossacks.
Periodically "Atamani" holds great festivals - festivals and thematic exhibitions. You can get to the Cossack wedding. You will not become a close friend of the bride or groom, but you will be cordially greeted as an expensive guest. Each such holiday ends with bikes - incredible stories worthy of the fantasy of Baron Munchausen.
Also guests can learn horse riding, learn the secrets of making bread, try themselves as a blacksmith. You can sit at the school behind the old school desk and try to write something with a goose feather on a small plank.
For children in Atamani there is a special playground where folklore ensembles and traditional Cossack rites perform. While the children are busy, adults explore restaurants and taverns with romantic names "Uspenochka", "Tsibulka", "Varenichnaya", "Fisherman's camp". There is a hut of the winemaker - the queue of the sufferers is constantly being built here.
Entrance ticket
When "Ataman" was just opened, the entrance to the complex was free. Now adults pay 150 rubles, children - 80 rubles. This is small money compared to what kind of emotions and impressions you can get when you see this Cossack village.
