The Holy Assumption Monastery of St. Svyatogorsky

Founded in 1566 by the decree of Ivan the Terrible. The Assumption Cathedral is a monument of Pskov architecture of the 16th century. The place is inextricably linked with the name of AS Pushkin. Living in Mikhailovsky, the poet often came here to bow to the graves of his ancestors. Near the cathedral was buried, and Pushkin himself / Near the walls of the monastery is the family cemetery of the Hannibals-Pushkin and the grave of the poet.
The Manor of Trigorskoye (18-20 centuries)
Trigorskoye - the former estate of the nearest neighbors and friends of Pushkin Osipov-Wulf, is located about 3 km west of Mikhailovsky, on one of the 3 hills that gave the name of the estate .The Osipovs occupied a large wooden house on the bank of the pond .This house was burned down in 1918 .and in 1962 .was reinstated .Now here is the museum .Trigorskiy Park - a wonderful example of landscape art in the second half of the 18th century .Until now, the park has well preserved many picturesque corners associated with Pushkin's stay in Trigorskoye .At the very edge of a steep cliff to the Soroti River, under the shadow of age-old oak trees and lime trees, there is a white garden bench, called "Onegin's Bench" .
To get to Trigorskoye you can take a shuttle bus to Voronich stop or by car through Kokorino and Voronich (6, 5 km).

Petrovskoye - a family estate of ancestors А .FROM.Pushkin Hannibalov .It is located 4 km northeast of Mikhailovskoye, on the shore of Lake Kuchane .P.A.Hannibal, Pushkin's great-uncle, received the estate from Empress Elizaveta Petrovna, built a house there and broke the park .This is the oldest park in the reserve and differs from the Mikhailovsky and Trigorskiy parks with a more strict layout .In the park alleys there are trees with the age of more than 200 years .Especially beautiful is the alley of dwarfish lindens, going from the manor house to the lake .Currently, the Hannibal House has been restored, it houses a museum, as well as a museum in the house of the poet's cousin .
