As a tourist in Veliky Novgorod, I have to visit quite often. The last trip was planned for two days, so I faced the question of finding a place to sleep. The nearest hotel was "Russia" - the one that stands on the banks of the Volkhov River and "looks" at the main attraction of the city. Without hesitation, I decided to stay in it.

Cool trip to Veliky Novgorod! September 03, 2013
Went with friends about two years ago in Velky Novogorod, stayed at the hotel "Rossiya" . Room was priced per day 2500 rub ., it was not the cheapest, but we were satisfied and it was . The room was on the second floor overlooking the Kremlin . Especially at night, in the light of the lights, a terrific sight! The pedestrian bridge leading to the Kremlin is nearby, literally 3 minutes on foot . Free parking near the hotel, you saw your car from the balcony)) I really liked the bed, air blankets and pillows and an excellent mattress - slept perfectly . The room had a mini -bar (extra charge), which is very convenient! There is a balcony . There is a bathroom, a cupboard, tables, a table and a new one . There is a pool in the lobby, the restaurant works . Breakfast is included, it is tasty and beautiful . Friendly staff . We were perfectly oriented where we can go , called a taxi . I liked everything! I advise you to stay there, in the immediate vicinity of the historical center of Veliky Novgorod!

Stayed in this hotel for the May holidays 2009. I do not know how now, but at that time there were two types of rooms - with European-quality repair and without (which we preferred). Despite the slightly painted walls of the schoolchildren (thanks to which they got acquainted with the amusing "school folklore"), the rooms were very clean and pleasant. About the chic view of the Kremlin in general is silent - it must be seen.
In addition: just three minutes walk from the pedestrian bridge and the Kremlin, as well as a stunning breakfast. In short, we liked
