Vorkuta Airport is located in the Republic of Komi, not far from the city of the same name. This is a very small aerial node, serving every day only about 150 people. The air harbor of Vorkuta has only one terminal. The airfield can receive Tu-134, Il-18, Il-114 and increasingly lighter ones. In addition to civil aviation, the aviation of the FSB of Russia is based here. The Komiaviatrans company also includes several airports in the Komi Republic.

There is a military airfield Sovetskiy near Vorkuta.

How to get there

From the airport to the city center can be reached by public transport or by taxi. Bus number 10 takes you to the railway station
