The international airport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Yelizovo is the largest transport hub in the region, not only providing Kamchatka with air traffic, but also performing international charter flights to Tokyo, Beijing, Bangkok, Nha Trang and Phuket. The airport can accept aircraft of any type and size, including very large airliners.
In 2012, the airport began reconstruction, after which another runway will be added and a new terminal building will be erected.
How to get here
You can reach the airport by private and public transport or by taxi. From Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky go routes number 102, 104. From Elizovo - route number 1, 7, 8, 102, 104. From Vilniusinsk - route number 120.
The road from the airport to the bus station will take a little over half an hour.

The airport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. In addition to the usual waiting rooms there are VIP VIP rooms. At the airport there is organized trade in souvenirs, flowers, periodicals, there are mobile payment terminals, several ATMs. Near the airport is the restaurant "Polet", not so long ago moved to a separate building.
