The annual fish festival Fish Fest started in Belgrade on August 4, 2014. The eighth festival for fans of traditional dishes of Serbian cuisine takes place on the banks of the Danube . Near the walls of the Kalmegdan fortress
Organizers of the holiday expect that this year the event will be visited by about 100 thousand tourists. More than 500 chefs from all over Serbia are invited to the festival, who are ready to share their own recipes with the guests.
The main fish of the festival is chorba, an analog of Russian soup. The cooks will conduct master classes, demonstrating a variety of ways to prepare soups. Of course, the tasting of the dishes received is welcomed.
