The world-famous nightclub Zouk can be closed at the end of this year. This was announced by the founder of the legendary Singaporean institution, 67-year-old Lincoln Chen. He said that he would have to take such a step if he did not get permission for a long-term lease of the premises.
Lincoln Chen said that he was tired of obtaining permits only for short-term rent and requires the extension of the contract immediately for at least three years in order to be able to continue to work quietly. According to the owner of the club, he wants stability.
The cult Singapore nightclub Zouk has been working for 23 years and ranks 7th among such establishments in the world according to the influential British music magazine DJ Mag.
