Add a review about the Presidential Palace of Bratislava

The Presidential Palace in Bratislava is unusually good. Having changed several owners during his life, this palace changed its name every time. It was built in 1765 as the residence of Count Anton Grassalkovich. To this day it is called the Palace of Grassalkovicha by the name of the owner, the friend of Queen Maria Theresa. Then he was a popular aristocracy meeting where the orchestra was conducted by the composer Joseph Haydn at balls and primates.

Then the palace became the residence of Archduke Ferdinand, then the residence of Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Czech Republic Clement Gottwald, still the residence of Josip Broz Tito, the palace of the pioneers (by the way, this period the palace suffered the most!) and again the residence - this time the President of the Slovak Republic.

In general, much has been seen by the palace in its time. Now in its park you can freely walk, admire the modern fountains, one of which is made in the form of the globe and symbolizes peace throughout the world. Honor guard from guardsmen in hats with feathers solemnize each other at a given frequency @ @ Presidential Palace of Bratislava, Bratislava
