70 km north of Dar es Salaam there is a pretty little town of Bagamoyo, rich in history, whose evidence can be seen at the fort, in the complex of the Catholic Mission, in the halls of the Museum of History, and in the oldest building of the city of Luka -House. Among the narrow streets, the caravan-shed was lost, then, in the Kaole, the ruins of mosques are seen, but the Friday Mosque rises proudly after the restoration.
