In the south-west of Cuba, in the contrasting province of Granma, the Desembarko del Granma National Park is located . Its name in Russian means "Disembarkation from Granma", but is associated with events 1956 . when a group of dissidents illegally arrived in Cuba to organize an insurrection . Among the revolutionaries were the legendary brothers Castro and Che Guevara, and the motor yacht itself was called "Granma" . Flora and fauna
