Who said that drinking alcohol in public transport is prohibited? Since May, the only tram and part-time pub in the world SparaKOFF travels in Helsinki, offering passengers the best views of the city. What could be better than a leisurely sightseeing with a glass of cold beer in your hand ?!

Until the beginning of a new life as a pub, in the interior of which there is a lot of mahogany, velvet and copper finishes, the tram carried passengers for 35 years. SparaKOFF is a symbiosis of the slang word "spara", meaning the tram, and the name of the oldest brewery in the Nordic countries Sinebruchoff.

The city tour takes about 1 hour and passes by the main sights of Helsinki: Central Station, Olympic Stadium, Finlandia Hall, Museum of Modern Kiasma Art, Market Square and Helsinki Cathedral. Inside the tram, television screens show the city's perspective from the driver's window.

There are 5 stops in the center of Helsinki where you can enter or exit the tram at any time. The tram staff consists of a driver and a waitress serving about 30 seats and offering beer, cider and soft drinks to passengers.

Season: from early May to end of August

Timetable: 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday, from 14:00 to 21:00

Rate: adults - 8 EUR, children under 12 years old - 4 EUR. Drinks are not included
