By air from Finnair you can fly from Moscow to Helsinki, from there - an hour flight to Kuusamo, which is only in half an hour from the ski resort . Then you can reach the resort of Ruka by a comfortable bus (journey time about 30 minutes) . Upon arrival right at Kuusamo airport you can hire a car (several rental agencies work here - driver's license is needed international and the driver must be after 21 years or more) .
