The giant pissing boy appeared on August 15, 2014 in the Market Square of the Finnish capital. The height of the unusual sculpture is 8, 5 m.
The statue in the center of Helsinki is not at all like the original "pissing boy" in Brussels: not only does his Finnish colleague look extremely strange, he is also of a pink color. The author of the sculpture was Tommy Toya, who promises that the unusual fountain will work for at least the next 2 months.
The Manneken Pisse is part of the exhibition that opened at the Amos Anderson Art Museum in the framework of the Helsinki Festival.
To install a sculpture weighing 7.5 tons, a special lift was required. Earlier, the pink "pissing boy" pleased the eyes of tourists and residents of the Swedish city of Orebro.
