Beauvais International Airport is located in the north of France, near the city of Beauvais. The full name of the air hub is Beauvais-Tille. From Paris it is far away - more than 70 km from the city center. This relatively small airport mainly serves budget airlines. The main number of flights falls on the airlines Ryanair and Wizzair
It should be noted that Beauvais-Tille has a long history. The airport was built in the 1930s, but as a civil airport it was opened only in 1956.
How to get there
The most convenient way to get to Paris is by a special shuttle that takes you to the Porte Maillot metro station. The journey takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. The fare is 16 EUR, children up to 3 years old are free of charge. Shuttles also provide access to Charles de Gaulle Airport and Disneyland.
You can get to Paris by train, although this option is not the most convenient. The train station of Beauvais is 4 km from the airport. To the station you need to get to the shuttle or bus number 12, then transfer to the express train TER.
In addition, you can take a taxi to the capital of France. And tourists have a choice - to order a regular taxi or minivan shuttle.
Mini van shuttle - more budget option. A ticket to Paris costs 32 EUR per person. If you are traveling alone, then with each passenger, pay 22 EUR. A ticket to Disneyland for one person will cost 50 EUR, for two - 60 EUR
