India intends to expand the list of countries that have the opportunity to obtain a visa at the airport upon arrival up to 40, including Russia. At the moment, the initiative is awaiting final approval by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Now in India, citizens of 11 countries, in particular Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand, Finland, Indonesia, Luxembourg, Cambodia, the Philippines, Laos and Myanmar have the right to obtain a visa upon arrival.
It is assumed that Russia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, France, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Poland, Norway, Ireland and others will also be included in the expanded list of countries.
