Astana Airport - the capital of Kazakhstan - by right can be called one of the most modern and convenient on the Eurasian continent. The air harbor was founded back in 1931 to serve small aircraft, and to date can accept any type of aircraft without restrictions. The airport operated over 2 million passengers in 2012.
Every year new routes open at the Astana airport. The air gates of the city consist of two terminals - passenger and cargo terminals. The passenger terminal consists of five levels and is equipped with telescopic ramps ("sleeves") for convenient delivery of passengers to the aircraft.
How to get there
You can get to the center of Astana by city buses. Bus number 10 runs between the airport and the station, passing through the city center. The operating time is from 5.50 to 22.24 hours. The interval of movement is 5-7 minutes. Bus number 12 goes from the airport through the city center, the final stop is "High School No. 19". The operating time is from 6.40 to 22.30 hours. The interval of movement is 15 minutes. The fare on buses is 60 tenge (13 rubles).

Waiting for your flight at the airport you can use many services . Here there is a network of ATMs, currency exchange office, mother and child's room, medical center, post office, pharmacy, car rental and VIP-hall . For the smokers there is a special room . For religious people there are three rooms for religious rites . There are many shops in the building of the terminal . Shoppers can go to the Meloman store, buy souvenirs in special shops and look for new things in the magician duty free trade . Of course, there are cafes and restaurants here, as well as free Wi-Fi .
