New airline Air Lituanica will make its first flight on July 1st. Among the first directions of the Lithuanian air carrier are Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin
Air Lituanica based in Vilnius plans to further launch flights to Moscow, Prague and Munich. According to the commercial director, the airline expects at first to have an air fleet of five aircraft with a maximum capacity of 185 passengers. Later, its management plans to become a direct competitor to neighboring Air Baltic on short routes. Finally, Air Lituanica expects to establish links with Air France, Air Berlin, Czech Airlines and KLM for code-sharing.
