Malaysia awarded the status of "tourism year" in the next 2014. On this occasion, the Asian state is preparing to host over 28 million tourists and organize about two hundred cultural events.

The most memorable events that 2014 will mark are the "Flowers of Malaysia" festival in May, the sale festival lasting from June to September , and the Rainforest World Misic Music Festival, which takes place annually in Sarawak at the beginning of summer. Local tourism offices are already developing special programs for tourists who will best combine visiting classical sightseeing routes and participating in planned cultural events

Recall that Malaysia has seriously aimed at increasing the tourist flow: by 2020, local authorities hope to increase the number of foreign travelers arriving annually to 60 million.
