Yucatan Mexican State prepares to open the first National Sculpture Park of Mexico, which will unite 18 works of local and foreign masters.
On August 17, after completion of all finishing works, the statues will be officially transferred to state ownership. The official opening of the park will take place in October, as part of the annual Mayan Culture Festival. All the works submitted to the permanent exhibition were made on a free topic using local materials, including limestone.
Recall that the state of Yucatán is one of the most picturesque places of Mexico, covering on its territory the ancient monuments of Maya civilization, as well as several fashionable resorts on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico
