In the near spring, Lufthansa will open two new transatlantic routes with departure from Munich.
Beginning April 3, the German national carrier will offer five weekly flights between its Munich hub and the Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City. Departures are provided daily, except Monday and Wednesday, at 22:25 with a landing in the Mexican capital at 4:25 am local time. Return flights will be carried out daily, except Tuesday and Thursday, at 10:30 with a return to Munich at 5:10 am. The route will involve Airbus A340, which includes 8 seats in the first class, 60 in business and 238 in economic.
Finally, on June 5, Lufthansa will launch a daily flight to Toronto. Departures from the Munich hub are scheduled for 11:55 with arrival at Toronto International Airport Pearson at 14:50 local time. Return flights are scheduled for 17:45 with a return to Munich at 7:45 am the next day. The flight will be operated by Airbus A330, designed to receive 221 passengers in three classes of service
