Port of Isla Mujeres, Mexico

In 2013-2014, the Mexican government will invest 8.6 billion pesos in the tourism sector of the economy (just under 700 million dollars) - such a statement made recently President Enrique Peña Nieto.

It is reported that this amount will be spent entirely on building new and updating existing elements of the tourist infrastructure. New hotels, restaurants, city parks will appear in the country, and local airports will acquire new terminals and services. In the case of a planned two-year project, Mexican citizens will receive more than 28,000 new jobs

Recall that every year tourism in Mexico brings the local economy more and more profits. In 2012, the country was visited by 23 million foreign travelers who left behind $ 12.6 billion.
